Coconut coir is the fibrous powder of the coconut shell, which is naturally and renewable. Good porosity can simultaneously coordinate the supply of water and air, avoiding common problems such as waterlogging, root rot or poor air permeability in soil cultivation. The pH value is slightly acidic and neutral: It is highly suitable for the growth of root systems of crops such as cucumbers, strawberries, and peppers, without the need for complex acid-base improvements as in soil conditioning.
